OUR MISSION

We aim to advance the vision health interests of Filipinos

by enhancing the capability of Filipino optometrists to deliver quality, affordable and accessible eye care by advocating for professional autonomy and independent practice.

Promotion

We will actively promote optometry as a vital component of the primary health care system

Advocacy

We will advocate for the adoption and vigorous implementation of laws, rules and regulations that enhance and protect the visual health of Filipinos

Representation

We will actively engage the global profession by representing the Philippines in international organizations and events

ABOUT US

Our Vision Is Simple:

We want to focus our efforts on supporting independent optometry practice as we believe it will be the bulwark against practices that prioritize profit over quality vision care.

The focus on independent optometry practice is anchored on helping optometrists be more proficient both technically and technologically.
